On this page you can find the network requirements for Varjo software.

Varjo Base

A network connection is required to log into and use your Varjo Account. If you encounter problems when logging in, check the following and try again:

1. Check if your firewall allows a DNS lookup. If not, add the following entries to the hosts file of your computer.
2. Make sure that your firewall is set to allow the following network connections:

Note that these connections are also needed when using Varjo Reality Cloud.

If you still can’t log in, please contact Varjo Support.

Varjo Reality Cloud

Check the required network connections listed above for Varjo Base.

Cloud streaming

1. Check if your firewall allows a DNS lookup. If not, add the following entries to the hosts file of your computer. All listed host names need to be discoverable.
2. Make sure that your firewall is set to allow the following network connections:

¹Bi-directional connections require high-bandwidth performance and should not be routed through a proxy server.

The list of required network connections might be updated in case of major network expansions.

Autodesk Network License Server

Autodesk VRED licenses are managed by your organization’s IT administrator on a Network License Server (FLEXlm). Varjo Reality Cloud queries this server to verify the validity of Autodesk licenses when using VRED.²

Varjo Reality Cloud sends queries from the IP addresses listed below. Make sure to allow inbound traffic for your region:
