Connecting a cable pair
XR-4 comes with a pair of 5 m (16 ft) cables that are used to connect the headset to your computer. You can replace the standard cable pair with a longer 15 m (49 ft) cable pair available in Varjo Store.
Only use Varjo-supplied cables to connect your headset. We cannot guarantee full functionality when using other cables.
Before you start, disconnect the headset from all other devices.
Overview
Included with the 15 m cable pair are the headset cables (Display cable, USB-C data cable), a T6 allen key, spare screws (x6+1), and cable clips (x25).

Connecting the 15 m cable pair
Connect the 15 m cable pair to your headset as follows:
Step 8.
Connect the 15 m data cable to the slot with the lightning symbol, and the display cable to the slot with the DisplayPort symbol. Note: the symbol on the display cable corresponds to the icon on top of the correct slot on the headset. |
|
Step 9.
Attach both cable clamps to the headset. Note: make sure to set the display cable on top of the data cable in the clamp before attaching the cable clamp, as shown in the picture. Do not overtighten the screws. |
