Some advanced features will move under this license—but headsets purchased before March 25 will keep the complete current feature set forever, at no cost.

Varjo Base is evolving. Here’s what you need to know.
The next release of Varjo Base, version 4.10 (scheduled for release in April) will introduce a new paid license option; Varjo Base Pro.
For headset purchases made after the update, some features (that are currently available in the standard iteration of Varjo Base) will no longer be available without a Pro license —such as Chroma Key, advanced masking tools, custom tracking solutions, and eye tracking for research and analytics.
However, if you already own a Varjo headset, you will retain access to all of the features currently available to you indefinitely without having to purchase a pro license. This legacy offer also applies to any headsets purchased before March 25th.
For users intending to use the advanced feature set (full details can be found here), headsets purchased before the cut off date will save $/€5,000 on a perpetual license or $/€2,500 on an annual license.
