Varjo Demonstrates Advanced Mixed Reality Solutions for UAV and JTAC Training at IT²EC

Varjo mixed reality IT²ECHelsinki, Finland / London, UK – At the upcoming International Training and Education Conference (IT²EC), Varjo will showcase its latest mixed reality training systems for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operations and Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) simulations together with partners. These training solutions, developed by Inzpire Limited, aim to improve the training experience by integrating virtual and real environments. This approach offers realistic and effective training at lower costs, preparing operators for precise mission execution with Varjo’s high-resolution and low-latency technology.

Varjo, at booth B30 with Inzpire, will conduct live demonstrations of its new XR-4 Series mixed reality headsets. In addition, Varjo will be showcasing the use of hand tracking with the XR-4 Series through the Ultraleap hand tracking bundle. Partners including Bohemia Interactive Technologies, ED Mission Systems, Dogfight Boss, Ryan Aerospace, Multisim, BAE Systems, Accenture, Turku University of Applied Sciences, Brunner, and Pitch Technologies will also showcase training and simulation solutions built with Varjo’s virtual and mixed reality. These demonstrations will cover various uses in defense, aerospace, education, and enterprise training, showing the broad potential for immersive technology.

Attendees can expect to see hands-on demonstrations of UAV pilot training simulators and JTAC simulations, highlighting how Varjo’s technology can enhance training realism and effectiveness. These examples aim to show the practical applications of mixed reality in improving skills and decision-making in complex scenarios.
