Varjo Selected to Support U.S. Air Force’s AFWERX Super Goggle Challenge
Arlington, Virginia / Helsinki, Finland – November 7, 2024 – Varjo, the global leader in industrial virtual (VR) and mixed reality (XR) solutions, announces it has been selected for an award of a contract through the AFWERX Challenge Commercial Services Offering (CSO) process. The contract is focused on the United States Air Force’s (USAF) AFWERX Super Goggle Challenge, to address a pressing challenge in the Department of the Air Force.
Under the guidance of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), AFWERX maintains a steadfast commitment to streamlining the CSO solicitation vehicle to bring innovative solutions to Department of the Air Force end-users and acquisition professionals. Since 2018, the AFWERX Challenge program has helped expand opportunities for small businesses by eliminating bureaucratic overhead and continually implementing process improvement changes in contract execution. Now, Varjo will start its journey to provide innovative capabilities that will strengthen the national defense of the United States of America.
