This is the final step in our Getting started guide. We will show you how to use optional features and view content on your Varjo headset for the first time.
3. Finishing touches
Completing the setup
After completing these steps, your Varjo headset is ready for use.
Please note that you will first need to complete the previous steps in our Getting started guide.
|1. Optional: Enable hand tracking (VR-2 Pro only)
The VR-2 Pro features Ultraleap’s hand tracking, which requires additional software.
To use hand tracking in your apps, you will need to download Ultraleap SDK for Varjo VR-2 Pro.
Refer to our Developer portal for more information on using hand tracking.
|2. Optional: Connect your headphones
If your VR experiences include sounds or voice input, you can plug your headphones into the headset. Headphones with a standard 3.5mm audio jack are compatible with Varjo headsets.
Read more about compatible headphones.
Remember to select the correct audio output and input source from the sound settings on your Windows computer.
|3. Setup complete
Your headset is now ready to use and will display an image when you put it on.
You can test your headset with Varjo Showcases, a set of VR experiences designed to demonstrate the graphical capabilities of Varjo headsets.
Simply choose and download one of the showcases and run the app to view it. The application opens directly in your headset.
