Connecting the headset – Alternatives

Depending on the type of your computer and the ports it has, there are a couple of different ways that you can connect your headset.

1. Connect to a desktop PC

Connect the Link Box to your computer and a wall socket:

Use the DisplayPort ports on your dedicated graphics card.

Use the blue USB-A 3.0 port at the back of your computer.

Use the power supply unit to connect the Link Box to the wall socket. The box includes three different power plugs; choose the suitable power cable according to your region.

Connect the red optical cable from the headset to the Link Box.

3.

Connect the blue optical cable from the headset to the Link Box.

Be sure to connect the cables in this order.

 

 

2. Connect to a laptop

 

 

1.

Connect the Link Box to your computer and a wall socket:

Connect one DisplayPort cable from the Link Box to the laptop. Use the right-most port in the Link Box as illustrated in the picture.

The other DisplayPort port in the Link Box will remain unused.

Use a blue USB-A 3.0 port to connect the USB cable.

Use the power supply unit to connect the Link Box to the wall socket. The box includes three different power plugs; choose the suitable power cable according to your region.

2.

Connect the red optical cable directly from the headset to a Thunderbolt 3 port in your laptop.

3.

Connect the blue optical cable from the headset to the Link Box.

Be sure to connect the cables in this order.
