January 21, 2026 – Helsinki, Finland – Varjo, a global technology leader in defense-grade mixed reality solutions, has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS). The certification was issued by KPMG following a thorough review process.
ISO 27001 is the internationally recognized standard for information security management systems. The certification confirms that Varjo has established and maintains a systematic, risk-based approach to managing information security across its organization.
The certified scope covers Varjo’s Information Security Management System (ISMS), encompassing the development, operations, manufacturing, support, and related business processes for Varjo's XR headsets and accompanying software. This demonstrates that information security is embedded throughout the core processes that support Varjo’s virtual and mixed reality solutions.
