This release includes new features as well as improvements and bug fixes to existing features.

New features:

• Added support for Valve Index headset:
  • You can now join VRED collaboration sessions and stream VR content with Valve Index.
  • If Valve Index is connected, streaming is automatically started in the headset.

Improvements and bug fixes to existing features:

• Fixed an issue where the default camera position would sometimes be at floor level when entering a session.
• Fixed an issue that caused image quality to not always appear consistent across the whole viewing area.
• Fixed an issue where the “Movement controls” guide would remain active in a new session if it was opened in a previous session.
• Fixed an issue where the email field in the login screen did not accept special characters.
• Fixed an issue that prevented logging in if the current user did not have any sessions available.
• Various stability improvements.

• Added a Delete button to the File Details page. Files can now be deleted by file owners and admins.
• Added instructions about 2D movement controls while in a session.
• Added seconds to the duration time counter in a session.
• Added UI text that was previously missing from all localizations.
• Email and password fields no longer accept spaces.
• Fixed an issue where a session file panel would remain visible in the session list after being deleted.
• Fixed an issue where the title of a text field would not always be visible.
• Fixed an issue where the loading spinner would sometimes not be visible when loading the session list.
• Fixed an issue where an invitee’s icon would remain visible to others even after the invitee left the collaboration session.

• Fixed an issue where the application became unresponsive when network connection was lost.

This is the first official release of the Varjo Reality Cloud standalone application for streaming XR/VR experiences without Varjo headsets and Varjo Base.

With Varjo Reality Cloud standalone application you can

• Join and start Reality Cloud sessions from a Windows computer
• view all files available to you in Reality Cloud.
